You will act as the vital bridge between complex enterprise business requirements and cutting-edge networking solutions, spearheading architectural governance, technology roadmaps, and Tier-4 technical escalations to ensure resilient, scalable, and automated digital operations.

Detailed Job Description

The Network Solution Architect provides strategic architectural direction and technical oversight across modern software-defined data centers, hyperscale cloud environments, and enterprise campus infrastructures. You will lead the end-to-end design, validation, and deployment of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Leaf-Spine architectures, VXLAN overlays, and seamless hybrid cloud interconnects spanning Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting high-level and low-level architectural designs (HLD/LLD), formulating network micro-segmentation strategies, and governing policy-driven connectivity across multi-site fabrics.

In this strategic capacity, you will oversee zero-trust network access (ZTNA) frameworks utilizing Cisco ISE, AGNI, and Aruba ClearPass, while orchestrating robust perimeter and internal security architectures with next-generation firewalls from Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks. You will champion network automation, leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning operational telemetry, and standardize enterprise switching and wireless controller deployments. Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, key executive stakeholders, and clients, you will deliver robust, resilient, and future-proof networking solutions across high-impact long-term initiatives in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architectural design, engineering governance, and deployment of enterprise and data center network solutions across Qatar.
• Architect and deploy scalable Cisco ACI data center fabrics, including Leaf-Spine topologies, VXLAN overlays, Endpoint Groups (EPG), and Virtual Port Channels (VPC).
• Design and implement secure hybrid cloud network architectures integrating on-premises enterprise data centers with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Architect robust network access control (NAC) and identity management solutions utilizing Cisco ISE, AGNI, Aruba ClearPass, and TACACS+ protocols.
• Define zero-trust security postures and enforce segmentation policies utilizing Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet FortiGate next-generation firewalls.
• Establish engineering standards and migration roadmaps for enterprise campus switching, core routing, and centralized wireless LAN controllers.
• Drive network automation and telemetry strategies by integrating Python, Ansible, and modern AI/ML-driven network operations frameworks.
• Perform advanced root-cause analysis and provide top-tier troubleshooting guidance for complex fabric, routing, and multi-cloud interconnect disruptions.
• Author comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Network Implementation Plans (NIP), and operational runbooks for complex client projects.
• Collaborate closely with enterprise clients, vendor engineering teams, and executive management to present solutions and drive technology transformation roadmaps.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 12+ years of progressive professional experience in enterprise network engineering, data center architecture, and systems consulting.
• Extensive hands-on and architectural expertise in Data Center networking, specifically Cisco ACI, Leaf-Spine fabrics, VXLAN, EPGs, and VPC implementations.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting public cloud networking infrastructure and hybrid cloud integrations using Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven subject matter expertise in Identity and Access Management platforms including Cisco ISE, AGNI, or Aruba ClearPass alongside TACACS+.
• Strong practical expertise in configuring, deploying, and hardening next-generation firewalls, specifically Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto Networks.
• In-depth background managing campus and data center enterprise switches, wireless controllers, and multi-vendor network fabrics.
• Advanced proficiency in enterprise network troubleshooting, packet analysis, dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and Layer 2/3 transport technologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Expert-level industry certifications such as Cisco CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure / Data Center) or equivalent architect credentials.
• Practical implementation experience with Network Automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Demonstrated familiarity with AI and Machine Learning applications applied to network telemetry and AIOps platforms.
• Certified solutions architect credentials in Microsoft Azure (AZ-700 / AZ-305) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer).
