Job summary

ABEC Ltd, a leading specialist in Building and Energy Management Systems, is seeking a Design Engineer to design control automation and monitoring solutions across the Middle East. The role focuses on BMS, PLC, SCADA, and EPMS, delivering designs from consultant specs to issued technical design documentation ready for construction and commissioning handover.

You will interface with bid and delivery teams, act as SME for control systems, mentor engineers, and lead on technical solution design for

Responsibilities

• Interface between the bid team and the project delivery team, providing input into New Projects bid opportunities.
• Act as a SME for BMS/PLC/SCADA/EPMS systems, providing advanced technical expertise.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and Solutions Architects, sharing knowledge and best practice.
• Lead on technical solution design for complex and major projects, including providing strategic input during bids.
• Recommend and introduce engineering methodologies, tools, and processes that drive improvements in quality, cost efficiency, and profitability.
• Represent ABEC as a senior technical authority with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
