Job summary

Employment seeks a specialist to monitor and improve Advanced Process Control (APC) schemes, ensuring optimized performance and asset integrity in a Qatar-based facility.

The role requires 5+ years in O&G with 3 years at Analyst level in APC, and preferred experience in ethylene and polyethylene manufacturing. You will drive continuous improvement, support digital transformation, and ensure safe, compliant operations across units.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Control Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in the O&G industry, with 3 years at Analyst level in Advanced Process Control.
• Ethylene and polyethylene manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve APC performance against internal and external benchmarks.
• Lead and participate in Management of Change (MOC) for APC-related changes.
• Track mid- and long-term process performance using KPI and economic metrics.
• Provide guidance on advanced process control strategy for units or sub-units to optimize uptime.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance across the department.
