Job summary

ACCA Careers in Doha, Qatar, seeks a Senior Accountant on outsourcing/secondment for a long-term contract. The role requires strong IFRS knowledge, SAP FI experience, and a proven GCC track record.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field and a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CA/CMA) preferred or in progress, with minimum 5 years in the GCC. Proficiency in MS Excel and robust analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred or pursuing (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant GCC experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP FI.
• Strong MS Excel proficiency.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting records and financial reporting.
• Support and coordinate external audits, including providing required schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS requirements.
• Work with ERP systems, preferably SAP FI, for accounting and financial transactions.
• Perform financial analysis and support management reporting requirements.
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Support the finance team in meeting reporting deadlines and maintaining strong internal controls.
