Job summary

Bojamhoor Mechanical and Electrical Co. is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day transactions, sub/general ledger, payroll, cost allocations, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures in a contracting environment.

The role involves audit prep, filing system maintenance, and coordination with departments for accurate financial reporting and compliance. Immediate joining and local availability with NOC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in contracting.
• Locally available with NOC and ready to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Review all payments and receipts to ensure compliance with contracts and company policies.
• Ensure all received financial guarantees remain valid until expiry and issue as required.
• Prepare monthly cash flow statement and monitor shortages, notify Finance Head if any issues.
• Prepare AP and AR aging and analysis.
• Liaise with operations and sales for collections follow-up and invoice matching with LPOs.
• Process monthly payroll and related employee settlements; apply deductions per regulations.
• Maintain a filing system for all processed transactions (soft and hard copies).
• Assist in audit work papers for year-end audits with external auditors.
• Participate in annual budgeting and interim forecasting.
• Maintain accounting controls and IFRS/compliance posture.
