Job summary

OilExec International is seeking a senior Infrastructure Programme Manager with extensive experience in major projects. The role requires leadership of diverse teams, deep PM knowledge, and a proven track record in delivering large, multidisciplinary initiatives.

GCC exposure and English fluency are essential. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, an MBA or similar master’s, and extensive senior experience with international consultants or authorities in Qatar or the Gulf

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field such as Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
• MBA or master’s degree in a relevant field
• Experience of working in managerial positions with international consultant companies or Authorities in Qatar and/or the Gulf region
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken; Driver’s Licence

Responsibilities

• 20+ years overall post graduate experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes, preferably drainage-related
• 10+ years in managerial roles with international consultants or authorities in GCC
• Deep understanding of construction procedures, material procurement and project management principles
• Proven track record delivering large multidisciplinary projects and leading teams of engineers
• Rounded profile with experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management with commercial awareness

Experience Requirements

• 1. Minimum 20 Years overall post graduate experience in major Infrastructure projects or Programmes. Preference will be given to drainage related experience.
• 2. Minimum 10 years experience in managerial positions with international consultant companies or Authorities in GCC Countries.
• 3. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material procurement and Project Management principles.
• 4. Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary Projects and managing team of engineers.
• 5. A “rounded profile”, with experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management analysis and commercial considerations.

Education Requirements

• 1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field such as Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
• 2. MBA or mater’s degree in a relevant field
• 3. Experience of working in managerial positions with international consultant companies or Authorities in Qatar and/or the Guldf region.
• 4. Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
