Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer – Road & Infrastructure Works to lead major road construction projects in Qatar. The role demands extensive site management, technical leadership, and assurance of quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

You will supervise earthworks, drainage, pavements, utilities and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to deliver complex infrastructure works to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years total professional experience.
• Minimum 10 years relevant road and infrastructure experience.
• Proven Senior/Resident Engineer experience on major road projects.
• Valid UPDA/MMUP and professional license required.
• Qatar/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise road and infrastructure construction activities.
• Provide technical direction to the site supervision team.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
• Supervise earthworks, pavement, drainage, utilities, and related works.
• Review drawings, method statements, material submissions, and inspection requests.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, progress, and schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, client, survey teams, and other stakeholders.
• Verify levels, alignment, setting-out, testing, and workmanship.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction issues.
• Maintain site records, reports, and project documentation.

Requirements
