Job summary

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all aspects of people management at Compass International School Doha, Qatar. You will work with the Principal and leadership team to deliver a high-quality HR service aligned with strategic priorities.

The role covers end-to-end recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, compliance with Qatar Labour Law and MOEHE, visa processes, and annual performance reviews, while promoting diversity and wellbeing across the school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years HR generalist or management experience, ideally in a school or service-led environment.
• Strong understanding of Qatar Labour Law, employment legislation, and immigration processes.
• Proven track record of managing high-volume recruitment and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for all school roles with the Principal and leadership team.
• Act as first point of contact for employee relations; provide advice, coaching and mediation to managers and staff.
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations: payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance, and file maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE requirements and Nord Anglia HR policies.
• Manage employee visa renewals, residency processes and exit procedures.
• Coordinate the school's annual appraisal and performance review process.
• Support managers with goal setting, feedback and development planning.
• Partner with the Principal on workforce structure, compensation and people priorities.
• Champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing across the school community.
