About the job SAP Senior Functional Consultant (SAP MM/WM/MDG MM Objects)

We are looking for an SAP Senior Functional Consultant (logistics) having extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with strong SAP MM/WM functional, technical, integration and business process experience including MDG objects. The candidate will be involved in supporting projects by completing as required: business blueprinting, design and build activities. The candidate will be primarily responsible to work on the SAP integration involving the two-way transfer of master data objects.

Responsibilities

The candidate should have excellent technical skills, experience & expertise in Oil & Gas industry of SAP Material Management/Warehouse Management module, including Master Data, Procurement, Inventory, MRP, Warehouse, workflows, and integration with other SAP modules like Plant Maintenance, FI/CO/JVA, PS, HR, QM. The candidate should also have skills and hands on experience for MDG Material Master and Service Master Objects.

The applicant should also have expertise in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP MM/WM functional areas as well as third party tools/solutions integration/interface knowledge with SAP.

Qualifications / Experience

The ideal applicant will have the following experience:

• At least 4 full cycle SAP implementations including implementation in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Implementation and post go-live support for SAP MDG MM objects.
• Knowledge of middleware solutions for interfacing data such as PI/PO strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of workflow development and SAP Vendor Invoice Management solution strongly preferred.
• Multiple SAP system upgrades including third party tools/solutions, interfaces with external systems.
• Excellent project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, monitoring & execution, manage dependencies/critical paths, cutover, post go-live support of large-scale projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas Industry, must have Technical and Business process experience, specifically specializing in designing, implementation of MM/WM Processes including workflows.
• Experience in designing SAP Interfaces with external systems.
• Strong knowledge of SAP authorizations & Access Controls. Should be fully familiar and have previous experience with SAP authorizations, including authorization objects.
• Fully aware of the integration & controls within SAP MM functional areas, especially SAP FI/CO/JVA, SAP PM, SAP PS, SAP HR, SAP QM.
• Strong knowledge/experience of user exits / customer enhancements, BADI, LSMW & designing of reports, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of S/4HANA and system transformation including business process re-engineering.
• Experience in Data Migration to S/4HANA systems including MDG preferred.

Be able to independently develop & define Test Scenario documents, perform Unit Testing, QA Testing & User Acceptance Testing including negative testing scenarios and execution of test scripts. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills. Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work well on cross functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks. Must have a 'Can-do' attitude and be keen to explore new technology.
