Job summary

Exiga Solutions in Qatar is seeking a Sr SAP ABAP Specialist to support SAP S/4HANA implementations and enhancements onsite. You will design, develop, and maintain ABAP solutions, including RESTful services, OData, CDS views, and Adobe Forms, collaborating with functional consultants and business users.

The role requires 10+ years of SAP ABAP experience, strong delivery focus, and the ability to work in a fast-paced onsite environment in Qatar.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, including SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong expertise in RESTful ABAP Programming Model and end-to-end delivery.
• Hands-on with OData Services, CDS Views, AMDP, and Adobe Forms.
• Experience with SAP Workflow development and Fiori backend integration.
• Proven ability in performance tuning, debugging, transport management, and adhering to development standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions across projects (implementation, enhancement, upgrade, production support).
• Develop and maintain RESTful ABAP applications, RICEF objects, and custom developments.
• Create OData Services, CDS Views, AMDP, and Adobe Forms for SAP S/4HANA on-premise environments.
• Develop, configure, and maintain SAP Workflow solutions for complex processes.
• Support SAP Fiori backend integration, service enablement, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Enhance with BADIs, BTEs, User Exits, BAPIs, IDocs, and external integrations.
• Perform performance tuning, code optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
• Manage transports, version control, and SAP development standards.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Sr. SAP ABAP Specialist to support enterprise SAP S/4HANA implementation and enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in S/4HANA ABAP development, RESTful ABAP programming, SAP Workflow, and end-to-end technical delivery. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance SAP solutions while working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders in an onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions across implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and production support projects
• Develop and maintain RESTful ABAP applications, RICEF objects, and custom developments aligned with business requirements
• Design and develop OData Services, CDS Views, AMDP, and Adobe Forms for SAP S/4HANA on-premise environments
• Develop, configure, and maintain SAP Workflow solutions to support complex business processes
• Support SAP Fiori backend integration, service enablement, debugging, and performance optimization
• Develop enhancements using BADIs, BTEs, User Exits, BAPIs, IDocs, and interfaces with external systems
• Perform performance tuning, code optimization, and technical troubleshooting to ensure system stability and efficiency
• Manage transports, version control, and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities while ensuring compliance with quality and audit standards

Required Skills

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, including extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong expertise in RESTful ABAP Programming Model, RICEF development, and end-to-end technical delivery
• Hands‑on experience with OData Services, CDS Views, AMDP, Adobe Forms, and SAP Workflow development
• Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori backend integration and service enablement
• Experience with enhancements including BADIs, BTEs, User Exits, BAPIs, IDocs, and external system integrations
• Proven expertise in performance tuning, debugging, transport management, and SAP development standards
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in full‑cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, and production support projects
• Strong understanding of SAP security, quality assurance, and audit compliance practices
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced onsite consulting environment
• Candidates available to join on short notice will be preferred
• Experience working with clients in the Middle East/GCC region is an added advantage
