Job summary

Starlink Qatar is seeking a skilled SAP Consultant (Procurement / Material Management) to optimize procurement operations within an SAP S/4HANA environment. You will configure MM solutions, support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay, and collaborate with stakeholders across modules to drive process improvements.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP Materials Management experience, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proven ability to deliver end-to-end SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on SAP MM experience focused on procurement.
• Strong Procure-to-Pay and vendor management experience.
• Hands-on SAP MM configuration experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP MM with a focus on procurement and sourcing.
• Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycle: PRs, POs, goods receipt, invoice verification, vendor evaluation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs and configurations.
• Support vendor management: vendor master data, sourcing, and contracts.
• Ensure MM integration with FI, SD, and WM modules.
• Support SAP Ariba integration and related workflows.
• Participate in full lifecycle implementations: requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment.
• Provide production support and resolve procurement system issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams on reports, interfaces, data migration.
• Prepare functional documentation and conduct user training.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled SAP Consultant (Procurement /Material Management) to support and enhance procurement and sourcing processes within an SAP environment. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Procure-to-Pay cycles, vendor management, and integration across SAP modules. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to optimize procurement operations, configuring SAP MM solutions, and supporting implementation and enhancement initiatives in an SAP S/4HANA landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP Materials Management solutions with a focus on procurement and sourcing processes

Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycle including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and vendor evaluation

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations

Support vendor management processes including vendor master data, sourcing, and contract management

Ensure seamless integration of Materials Management with Finance, Sales and Distribution, and Warehouse Management modules

Support SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement functionality and enhancements

Assist in SAP Ariba integration and related procurement workflows

Participate in full lifecycle implementations including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment

Provide production support and resolve procurement-related system issues

Required Qualifications

Hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement

Experience working with SAP Ariba integration is preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
