Job summary

Alftek is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to support enterprise network deployments in Qatar. The role focuses on routing, switching, commissioning, testing, and delivering infrastructure projects.

You will configure devices, validate connectivity, and support rollout activities across customer environments. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of hands-on network experience, CCNA certification, and strong TCP/IP knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT, CS, Telecom, Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of network implementation experience.
CCNA Certification mandatory.
Strong routing and switching knowledge.
Experience configuring enterprise networking equipment.
Experience with LLD and As-Built documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Must be located in Qatar and available to join quickly.

Responsibilities

Configure and deploy routing and switching infrastructure.
Perform network device commissioning and operational acceptance testing.
Conduct connectivity validation and end-to-end network testing.
Support network implementation and infrastructure deployment projects.
Troubleshoot network issues during installation and commissioning phases.
Prepare and maintain Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
Create and update As-Built documentation for completed projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customer teams during deployments.
Support network migration, upgrade, and expansion activities.
Ensure network installations meet technical and quality standards.
Maintain accurate project records and technical documentation.
Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution.
