Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institute.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in balancing and related machining on gas turbine rotors.
- Experience with dynamic balancing processes and machine operation.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Rotor disassembly/assembly knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Operate balance machines to locate imbalance on rotors and related parts.
- Perform turning, drilling, milling, grinding and boring to specifications.
- Inspect rotors and related components visually and with measurements.
- Complete routers, job cards, labor reports and inspection reports.
- Maintain machines and balancing facility and keep area clean.
- Update digital shop systems with work orders and time vouchering.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and Baker Hughes policies.
