Job summary

Raffles & Fairmont Doha is hiring a Room Attendant to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation in guest rooms, suites and related areas. You will deliver attentive service while respecting guest privacy to ensure a luxurious, memorable stay.

The role requires accuracy, strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced luxury environment. Prior housekeeping experience and basic English are preferred, with shifts including

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites and bathrooms to luxury hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, towels and replenish guest amenities.

• Respond promptly, courteously and professionally to guest requests.

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles amp Fairmont Doha as our new Room Attendant The Room Attendant at Raffles amp Fairmont Doha is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness hygiene and presentation in guest rooms suites and assigned areas The role ensures that every guest enjoys a comfortable luxurious and memorable stay by following hotel standards providing attentive service and respecting guest privacy

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms and assigned areas according to luxury hotel standards
• Change bed linens, replace towels and replenish guest amenities and room supplies
• Ensure guest rooms are clean, organized and ready for guest arrivals
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items and lost-and-found property to the appropriate department
• Respond to guest requests promptly, courteously and professionally
• Follow hotel procedures for hygiene, sanitation, safety and security
• Respect guest privacy and follow established room access procedures
• Coordinate with the housekeeping team and other departments to ensure efficient room operations
• Maintain housekeeping equipment, trolleys and cleaning supplies in good condition
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail
• Follow hotel policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service quality
• Contribute to guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service

What will you bring to this role?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
• Knowledge of room cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and housekeeping practices
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions, hotel policies, and standard operating procedures
• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and pushing a housekeeping trolley
