Job summary

Alwadi Hotel Doha, part of the Accor MGallery portfolio, seeks a Reservations Agent Intern to support the team with room reservations, inquiries and guest communications.

This internship offers exposure to front office operations, system training, and the chance to contribute to guest experiences while completing a hospitality degree.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
• Previous reservations/front office/guest services experience is an asset.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling room reservations, inquiries, and booking requests professionally and efficiently.
• Respond to guest calls, emails, and reservation inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide information about room types, rates, facilities, and services.
• Support the Reservations team in entering, updating, and maintaining booking records.
• Assist with booking confirmations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and other departments for a smooth guest experience.
• Support daily reservation reports and follow‑ups on pending bookings.
• Promote hotel facilities, room upgrades, packages, and services where appropriate.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and standards of service.
• Assist in day-to-day operation of Reservations and support colleagues.

Reservations Agent Intern

What you will be doing:

• Assist in handling room reservations, inquiries, and booking requests professionally and efficiently.

• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and standards of service.
• Support the smooth day-to‑day operation of the Reservations department and assist colleagues when required.
• Contribute to creating thoughtful, personalized moments that reflect the unique spirit of MGallery.

Your experience and skills include:

Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Previous experience in reservations, front office, or guest services is an asset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, welcoming, and professional personality with a passion for hospitality.
• Basic knowledge of hotel operations and reservation procedures.
• Good computer skills and willingness to learn hotel reservation systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Professional grooming and a positive attitude at all times.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
