Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar seeks an Operator Utilities to manage plant operations, water treatment, chemical handling and emergency works in a large industrial area. The role requires 6+ years of oil and gas or petrochemical experience and a relevant engineering diploma or trade certificate.

English communication is essential; Gulf experience is preferred. The position offers a long-term contract with a competitive daily rate, housing and transportation provisions, and transport to Ras

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or trade certificate in a relevant field.
• 07 years of experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industries or similar systems/facilities.
• Experience in water and chemical analysis.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and ensure continuous operation; perform isolation / de-isolation as required.
• Oversee wastewater, potable water and landscaping network operation; manage chemical preparation.
• Carry out cleaning activities and coordinate non-routine/emergency works.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance and good housekeeping; enforce permit to work procedures.
