Job summary

Alftek International in Qatar seeks an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise daily civil construction activities on oil and gas projects, with a strong focus on shuttering and formwork, manpower coordination, quality, and site safety.

You will read and interpret construction drawings, coordinate with engineers and site teams, monitor progress and quality, ensure compliance with HSE requirements, and report issues promptly. Immediate joining preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of total experience as a Civil Foreman.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Qatar is mandatory.
• Oil and gas experience is required.
• Strong hands-on experience in shuttering.
• Experience supervising civil construction activities, particularly concrete and shuttering works.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate civil workers and subcontractors on site.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, site procedures, and safety requirements.
• Ability to ensure work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Candidates must be available to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the site.
• Manage and monitor shuttering and formwork installation and dismantling.
• Supervise workers and ensure proper allocation of manpower.
• Read and understand construction drawings and ensure work is carried out accordingly.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site teams.
• Monitor the quality and progress of civil works.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and site safety requirements, particularly in oil and gas environments.
• Report site progress, manpower requirements, and work-related issues to the concerned engineer or supervisor.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within the required schedule.
