Job summary

Major EPC Contractors in Ras Laffan is seeking certified PTW Coordinators for immediate deployment. The role requires drafting and issuing hot/cold work and confined space permits, performing joint site inspections, tracking gas tests, and overseeing SIMOPS to avoid clashes on the plant floor. A minimum of 5 years PTW experience in downstream oil and gas is required, with an immediate NOC and MOI background check. QP/Qatar Energy approval is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years PTW experience in downstream oil and gas projects.
• Qatar ID with immediate NOC to work in Ras Laffan.
• Clean MOI background check to pass gate requirements.
• QP/Qatar Energy approval is an advantageous credential.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and issue strict Hot Work, Cold Work, and Confined Space entry permits per Qatar Energy safety protocols.
• Conduct joint site inspections with construction supervisors to verify isolations are active before work starts.
• Monitor live gas testing results and log atmospheric checks in high‑risk areas.
• Manage the SIMOPS board to prevent cross‑activity clashes on the active plant floor.
