Vistas Global is seeking an experienced Projects Controls Engineer to lead planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, performance monitoring and reporting for brownfield oil & gas projects in Qatar.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, planners, estimators, contractors and stakeholders to ensure robust project controls, risk management and clear management reporting. 5–7 years of experience in project controls and familiarity with petrochemicals and SAP S/4HANA IM/PS are preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in Projects Controls for brownfield Oil & Gas.
• Experience with costing tools/software and cost‑sheets.
• PMP/PMI/APM preferred; CCP/PSP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead project planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Develop dashboards and management reporting for project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, planners, estimators, contractors and other stakeholders to maintain robust project controls.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Projects Controls Engineer to manage project planning, scheduling, cost, budgeting, performance monitoring, risk and reporting. The role will work with Project Managers, Project Engineers, planning teams, estimators, contractors and stakeholders to maintain strong project controls.

What we're looking for

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering is preferred.
• 5–7 years as a Projects Controls Engineer with brownfield construction experience in Oil & Gas.
• Petrochemicals experience is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with costing tools/software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
• Project scheduling, critical path, resource planning and progress measurement experience.
• Budget, forecast, cost‑sheet and spend‑tracking experience.
• EOT claims and change‑order analysis experience.
• Risk, contingency planning and corrective‑action experience.
• Project status reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Audit documentation and evidence‑support experience.
• PMP/PMI/APM certification is preferred; CCP and PSP certifications are also preferred.
• Project planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and reporting.
• Detailed project plans, activity sequencing, milestones, critical‑path monitoring and recovery actions.
• Contractor schedule/package review, progress verification and site monitoring.
• Cost control, budgets, forecasts, spend tracking and variance analysis.
• Project performance analysis, invoices, EOT claims and change‑order impact assessment.
• Risk identification, impact assessment, mitigation and corrective actions.
• Project monitoring systems, dashboards and management reporting.
• Scope, schedule and budget change control.
• SAP S/4HANA IM/PS project modules.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
