Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Manager in Doha. The role focuses on IT project management within the Utilities sector, delivering software and business projects under fixed-price and outcome-based contracts.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of IT project management experience, a strong governance background for public-sector clients, and proficiency with Azure DevOps, Primavera, Unifier, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• A relevant full-time degree; a Master’s degree in a computing discipline is preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in IT project management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing software and business-oriented projects in a complex environment within the Utilities industry.
• Demonstrated experience delivering under a fixed-price or outcome-based managed-services contract with contractual SLAs.
• Experience operating within a public-sector or government-owned client governance environment; State of Qatar experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT project portfolio for utilities clients.
• Lead fixed-price or outcome-based managed-services contracts with SLAs.
• Coordinate hybrid onsite-offshore delivery teams and ensure delivery traceability.
• Interface with public-sector/government client governance and compliance requirements.
• Provide regular reporting and analytics using Power BI and MS Office.

Key Skills & Experience:

• IT project / delivery management, hybrid onsite-offshore delivery, SLA-governed managed services, PMP or PRINCE2, utility sector
• Azure DevOps — boards, backlogs, sprints, dashboards and delivery traceability (the client’s primary ALM platform per the requirement specification clarification response).
• Primavera, Unifier and MS Planner exposure for interface with the client project estate.
• Reporting and analysis in Power BI and the MS Office suite.

Certifications

• Formal project management certification is mandatory: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
• Agile delivery certification (PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist or equivalent) is preferred given the hybrid-agile delivery model.
• ITIL Foundation is desirable for the service-transition interface.
