Job summary

SFAI QATAR -Santa Fe Associates is seeking an experienced project leader to manage overseas water treatment projects from inception to final acceptance. You will serve as the single point of accountability for performance timelines, cost control and technical compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical / Environmental / Mechanical) or related field.
• Extensive experience in industrial wastewater treatment or seawater desalination projects.
• Proven track record managing international or overseas projects.
• Experience covering both technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.
• Strong leadership, decision making and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end management of overseas projects from business development through execution and final acceptance.
• Act as the single point of accountability for project performance timelines, cost control and technical compliance.
• Support business development with technical input for tenders, feasibility, risk assessment and client engagement.
• Oversee EPCC activities for water treatment projects.
• Ensure proper application of wastewater treatment and seawater desalination technologies.
• Provide expert oversight on systems involving chemicals, membranes and filter elements.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation across technical, commercial and operational areas.
• Ensure projects comply with contractual specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience and Education
