Job summary

Burj Line Builders is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage sourcing of corporate gifts, promotional items, customized products, packaging, and related materials in Doha. You will receive requirements from Sales/Project teams, identify suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, coordinate samples, and ensure on-time delivery to meet client specs and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
• Experience in corporate gifts, promotional items, printing or events.
• Strong knowledge of the Qatar and UAE supplier markets.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor-management skills.
• Fluent English communications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review client requirements from Sales/Project team, including specs, quantities, branding, budget, and delivery dates.
• Source corporate gifts, promotional merchandise, customized products, packaging, and related items.
• Identify new suppliers locally and internationally based on project requirements.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations for competitive pricing, quality, specs and delivery timelines.
• Prepare quotation comparison sheets and recommendations for internal approval.
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, payment terms, lead time, MOQs, samples, customization, and delivery conditions.
• Coordinate product samples, branding methods, colors, materials, packaging, and specs before placing orders.
• Ensure supplier quotations match client requirements before submitting costs for sales quotation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Design, Finance, Logistics, and Project teams throughout procurement.
• Issue and follow up purchase requests, LPOs/POs, supplier confirmations, invoices, delivery notes, and other docs.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure production and delivery stay on schedule.
• Handle urgent sourcing and identify alternative suppliers when needed.
• Monitor supplier performance on price, quality, reliability, responsiveness, and delivery.
• Maintain supplier database, product catalogs, price lists, samples, and sourcing records.
• Source internationally when products are unavailable locally and coordinate shipping with logistics.
• Ensure purchased products meet approved samples and specifications before delivery.
• Resolve supplier issues, shortages, quality problems, and delays.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding client requirements, pricing, supplier information, and company data.
