Job summary

Qureos is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage sourcing of corporate gifts, promotional items, customized products and packaging in Qatar. You will receive requirements from Sales/Project teams, identify suppliers worldwide, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and coordinate samples and customization to meet client specs, budget and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar and UAE supplier markets.
• International sourcing experience with China, Turkey, Europe, UAE, etc.
• Excellent supplier negotiation and vendor-management skills.
• Ability to convert client briefs into clear supplier RFQs.
• Understanding of customization methods (printing, engraving, embroidery, laser marking, UV printing, screen printing, packaging, branding).
• Ability to compare quotations considering total value (quality, lead time, terms, reliability).
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review client requirements from Sales/Project team, including specs, quantities, branding, budget, and delivery dates.
• Source corporate gifts, promotional merchandise, VIP gifts, customized products, packaging, and related items.
• Identify new suppliers locally and internationally based on project needs.
• Obtain and compare multiple supplier quotations for pricing, quality, specs, and timelines.
• Prepare quotation comparison sheets and recommendations for approval.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, MOQs, samples, customization, and delivery conditions.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new sources.
• Coordinate samples, branding methods, colors, materials, packaging, and specs before orders.
• Ensure quotations match client requirements before cost submissions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Design, Finance, Logistics, and Project teams.
• Process purchase requests, LPOs/POs, supplier confirmations, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Follow up with suppliers to keep production and delivery on schedule.
• Handle urgent sourcing and identify alternates when needed.
• Monitor supplier performance on price, quality, reliability, and delivery.
