Job summary

North Oil Company seeks an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage purchasing activities for equipment, materials, and services in a safe, compliant and cost-efficient manner.

You will coordinate with Partners’ Entities and suppliers, evaluate offers, group requisitions, and ensure on-time delivery to support O&G operations in Qatar. The role requires 6+ years in procurement within the energy sector and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in science or commercial field.
• Intermediate level in purchasing competencies.
• Fundamental knowledge of purchasing tools (C&P).

Responsibilities

• Perform purchasing activities to meet company requirements safely, efficiently, economically, auditable and comprehensive.
• Handle purchasing processes to deliver best quality in time and at optimal cost.
• Ensure supplier deliveries on time and manage PO follow-up to reception and payment.
• Input all purchase data in SAP and maintain compliant procurement records.
• Negotiate with suppliers and oversee tender processes and bidder selection.
