Job Description

The Business Analyst Consultant serves as the bridge between business users and technical teams, gathering requirements, analysing processes, and translating them into digital use cases and system specifications.

This role supports data and AI initiatives across exploration, production, and sustainability functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder sessions.
• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Map as‑is and to‑be business processes for automation and digitization opportunities.
• Collaborate with solution architects and developers to deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
• Validate solutions via UAT, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
• Analyse KPIs and create dashboards to measure digital project success.
• Support change management, user adoption, and training efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in business analysis or digital project delivery.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and digital transformation programs.
• Proficiency in process mapping (Visio, Lucidchart) and data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with stakeholder engagement experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification: CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or Agile Business Analyst.
• Familiarity with SAP, Power Platform, or Data Analytics ecosystems.
• Experience in energy sector workflows (production, asset management, maintenance).
