Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Interface Specialist (Dredging) in Ras Laffan, Qatar to manage technical and contractual interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, operations and external stakeholders, focused on port dredging and marine infrastructure works.

The role requires coordinating design-to-construction activities, leading interface management plans, and organizing regular meetings to ensure projects progress without schedule or cost overruns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Minimum 8 years of interface management experience in oil, gas, energy, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with EPC/FEED phases and interface registers.
• Experience working with operating companies, contractors and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with operations, engineering, project teams and EPC contractors to coordinate interface activities.
• Provide overall guidance on physical interfaces between dredging works and interfacing parties.
• Resolve interface issues to avoid delays or change claims.
• Organize and participate in weekly interface management meetings and maintain the interface register.
• Support Interface Management Plans, registers, matrices and reporting systems.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
• Maintain the interface tracking database.
• Ensure EPC Contractors' Interface Plans are developed, implemented, and monitored.
