Job summary

Media City Qatar is seeking a Senior PMO Specialist – Strategic Projects & Transformation to lead planning, governance, tracking, and reporting across strategic initiatives. You will work with the PMO and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategy and governance standards, delivering executive dashboards and KPI updates.

The role requires 8+ years in project management, PMP/PRINCE2, and strong PowerPoint/reporting skills, with experience across media/entertainment or complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, PM, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, PMO, transformation, or related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification mandatory.
• Strong PowerPoint and project reporting tools skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, tracking, and reporting of strategic initiatives across the portfolio.
• Translate objectives into actionable projects, milestones, and tasks.
• Ensure alignment with strategy, governance, timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance updates for senior management.
• Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and resources; escalate as needed.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across Strategy, Creative, Production, Marketing and Ops.
• Assist with resource allocation and workload prioritization.
• Promote PMO best practices, templates, and standardized processes.
• Provide PMO guidance, training, and knowledge sharing to project teams.
• Apply Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
• Support budget tracking, governance, and quality assurance.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned.
• Derive data-driven insights to improve performance and effectiveness.
• Contribute to continuous PMO process improvement and reporting.

Media City is seeking a Senior PMO Specialist – Strategic Projects & Transformation to support the planning, governance, tracking, and reporting of strategic and transformation initiatives across the organization.

The role will work closely with the PMO and business stakeholders to ensure effective project execution, alignment with organizational strategy, and adherence to PMO governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, tracking, and reporting of strategic and transformation initiatives across the assigned portfolio.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable projects, deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
• Ensure project alignment with organizational strategy, PMO frameworks, governance standards, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Develop and deliver project status reports, executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance updates for senior management.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and key milestones, escalating matters as required.
• Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration across Strategy, Creative, Production, Marketing, Operations, and other relevant functions.
• Support resource allocation, workload management, and prioritization across projects.
• Promote the adoption of PMO best practices, methodologies, templates, and standardized processes.
• Support project teams through PMO guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches.
• Support budget tracking, project controls, quality assurance, and governance compliance.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
• Identify trends and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance project performance and organizational effectiveness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, reporting frameworks, and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in project management, PMO, strategic projects, transformation, or a related field.
• Experience within the media, entertainment, technology, or other complex corporate environments is preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and project reporting tools.
• Experience in project planning, governance, risk management, resource management, and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Industry Knowledge

• Understanding of media production workflows, including TV, digital, film, advertising, and content development.
• Knowledge of content creation, distribution channels, campaign execution, creative and post-production processes.
• Familiarity with media KPIs and performance measurement.
