Job summary

Infojini Inc. is seeking a PMO Controller for a core banking modernization program (Temenos) in Qatar. The role focuses on central planning, financial control, and governance to consolidate workstream plans into an Integrated Master Schedule, manage dependencies, risks, and executive reporting.

Candidates should have 7–10+ years of PMO experience on large-scale Temenos transformations, with strong Waterfall, CPM scheduling, and change control capabilities. PMP certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 7–10+ years of PMO, planning and project controlling experience.
• Mandatory experience on a large-scale Temenos core banking transformation/modernization program.
• Strong expertise in Waterfall delivery and gated lifecycle management.
• Experience across Requirements, Design, Build, Testing, Dress Rehearsal, and Go-Live phases.
• Strong CPM scheduling and master scheduling experience.
• Experience managing portfolios of $20M+ and guiding junior PMO staff.
• PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate workstream plans into an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Track dependencies, handoffs, environment readiness, and vendor milestones.
• Perform critical path analyses and delay-impact assessments.
• Develop executive reporting and dashboards for Steering Committee and Board-level reviews.

PMO Controller – Core Banking Modernization (Temenos)

Job Type: Full-time / Contract

Location Preference: Qatar

Reports To: PMO Manager / Program Director

Job Purpose

The PMO Controller will act as the central planning, financial control, and governance anchor for an enterprise-wide Temenos Core Banking Modernization program. The role will consolidate workstream plans into an Integrated Master Schedule, manage dependencies and financial controls, monitor risks, and provide executive-level program reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule Control

• Consolidate individual Waterfall workstream plans into an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Track cross-workstream dependencies, technical handoffs, environment availability, and vendor milestones.
• Perform critical path analysis and delay-impact assessments.
• Model the impact of schedule slippage on Go-Live and program costs.
• Work with Workstream Leads on recovery, remediation, and fast-tracking plans.

Budget Control

• Monitor multi-year CapEx and OpEx transformation budgets.
• Analyze actual spend against baseline budgets.
• Forecast future expenditure and identify potential overruns.
• Reconcile Temenos and system integrator milestone invoices and delivery certificates.
• Work with Finance on software capitalization.

RAID & Change Control

• Own and maintain the central Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) log.
• Track financial and schedule impacts of program risks.
• Manage the formal Project Change Request (PCR) process.
• Assess resource, timeline, and cost impacts of scope changes.
• Ensure compliance with internal banking governance and regulatory requirements.

Program Reporting

• Track Schedule Variance (SV), Cost Variance (CV), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards.
• Prepare Steering Committee, C‑suite, and Board‑level presentations.
• Consolidate complex schedule, financial, risk, and dependency information into clear executive reporting.

Required Experience

• 7–10+ years of PMO, Planning, and Project Controlling experience.
• Mandatory experience on a large‑scale Temenos core banking transformation/modernization program.
• Strong expertise in Waterfall delivery and gated lifecycle management.
• Experience across Requirements, Design, Build, Testing, Dress Rehearsal, and Go‑Live phases.
• Strong Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and master scheduling experience.
• Experience controlling project portfolios of $20M+.
• Experience managing/guiding junior PMO analysts or administrative staff.
• PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is advantageous.
