Job summary

Airswift is sourcing a Planning Lead for an offshore compression project in Qatar. The role focuses on schedule development, maintenance, and cost-related data control for EPC facilities, reporting to the Head of Planning.

Provides scheduling evaluation, consolidation, and cost reporting under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Key responsibilities include integrating contractor and vendor schedules, monitoring progress, and advising on potential schedule changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Management / administration or Commercial disciplines.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project scheduling and controls for EPC oil and gas facilities capital projects / operating companies.
• Thorough knowledge of project controls principles, theories, and concepts.
• At least 5–7 years site/field scheduling experience.
• Experience developing work methods per company policies and standards.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains project schedules reflecting the approved design and execution scope.
• Reviews contractor project control procedures for compliance.
• Checks contractor progress reports for accuracy in progress measurement.
• Monitors EPC contractor schedules for logic and interfaces.
• Integrates subcontractor and vendor schedules into overall EPC timelines.
• Advises on schedule issues and implements corrective actions.
• Conducts periodic progress reviews with the contractor and reports to management.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering / related field
