Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter for on-site work in oil & gas, water treatment, or industrial projects. You will read drawings, fit pipes, install systems, and coordinate with welders and supervisors to meet tight schedules.

The role requires 3+ years of piping experience, familiarity with safety standards, and ability to work in demanding site environments. Certification or trade tests are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate or technical training required.
• Certification in Pipe Fitting preferred.
• Valid trade test certificate an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes using hand and power tools.
• Install piping systems, supports, valves, fittings, and associated equipment.
• Align and secure pipes according to project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pressure tests on piping systems as required.
• Identify and rectify installation defects and leaks.
• Assist with pipe fabrication and installation activities on-site.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project procedures.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Follow company quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand piping drawings and layouts.
  
• Proficient in the use of pipe fitting tools and equipment.
  
• Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, and installation techniques.
  
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
  
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site environments.
