Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks an experienced OT Cyber Security Engineer for Doha, Qatar, focusing on securing oil & gas OT environments and control systems. You will contribute to safeguarding DCS/SIS, metering, machinery monitoring and instrument asset management systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in automation/control systems or related field, 8 years in oil & gas, and strong OT networking/ security skills, plus fluent English and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in automation/control systems, industrial control systems, cyber security or computer science engineering.
• 8 years' engineering experience in oil and gas environment.
• Strong understanding of OT environments including DCS, SIS, metering, machinery monitoring/controls systems, and instrument asset management.
• Expert in OT infrastructure communication protocols and OT cyber security infrastructure and solutions such as EPPs, industrial networks, OT IDS, SIEM, authentication and access control.

Bachelor's degree in automation and control systems, industrial control system, cCyber Security, or computer science engineering.

8 years' experience in engineering in oil and gas environment.

Deep understanding of different operational technologies environment for example DCS, SIS, metering, machinery monitoring /controls systems, and Instrument asset management systems.

Expert in OT Infrastructure communication and protocols

Expert in OT Cyber Security Infrastructure and solutions such as Endpoint Protection Platforms, Industrial Networks and boundaries protection, OT IDS, SIEM, Authentication and Access control, etc.

Proficient knowledge of current and emerging OT technologies.

Familiar with industry- specific regulations and standards that impact Operational Technology Cyber Security such us (IEC, ISA, NIST, ISO)

Technical and Business Skills Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).

Computer literate and knowledgeable in relevant software tools and specifications.

Should be capable of solving issues associated with OT Cyber
