Job summary

People Dynamics in Doha, QA invites an experienced Oracle EBS Apps DBA to join our on-site team. You will manage EBS 12.2 administration, database tuning, and high-availability configurations in a robust Linux environment.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in Oracle EBS/Oracle Applications DBA roles, with hands-on experience in RAC/ASM/Data Guard and RMAN. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and production-support capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Apps DBA / Oracle Applications DBA.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 administration, maintenance, cloning, upgrades and patching.
• Excellent experience with Linux / RHEL environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c and 19c.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard and RMAN backup/recovery.
• Experience supporting Development, Test and Production environments.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, diagnosis, security and database performance tuning.
• Experience with High Availability, clustering, failover/failback, DMZ and multimode environments.
• Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Application Management Pack.
• Experience monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting both EBS application and database environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer Oracle EBS 12.2 environments across production, test and development.
• Perform cloning, patching, upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Administer Linux/RHEL servers hosting EBS and database tiers.
• Manage Oracle Database 12c/19c with RAC, ASM, Data Guard and RMAN backups.
• Troubleshoot performance, security and HA issues; ensure DMZ readiness.
• Monitor and tune both EBS and database components for reliability.
