Job summary

KIMS Holding Company B.S.C (C) in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Specialist/Ophthalmologist to join the team. The role involves comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, and performing cataract and refractive surgeries in state-of-the-art facilities.

Requirements include a medical degree, board certification in Ophthalmology, a valid Qatar license, and a minimum of 5 years of experience. English fluency is essential; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Ophthalmology.
• Valid license to practice in Qatar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Specialist/Ophthalmologist.
• Excellent clinical and surgical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions.
• Perform cataract, LASIK, and other refractive surgeries.
• Prescribe and administer medications, eye drops, and other treatments.
• Monitor and manage patients with chronic eye conditions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements and participate in continuing education.
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
• Adhere to medical and ethical standards and guidelines.
