Job summary

Ecojob in Doha, Qatar is seeking a qualified Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye health examinations and vision testing for diverse patients.

The role involves diagnosing and treating eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts, prescribing corrective lenses, advising on contact lenses, and maintaining clear patient communication in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Applicants must hold a valid optometry degree and Qatar practicing license; prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have an optometry degree from an accredited university.
• Certification/license to practice in Qatar.
• Previous optometrist experience preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye health examinations.
• Perform vision testing and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts.
• Advise on contact lenses and other optometric products.
• Communicate with patients effectively in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Maintain patient records and uphold high standards of care.
