Job summary

Malomatia seeks an Engineer – OpenAI & Chatbot Support to operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve enterprise generative-AI and chatbot services. You will ensure service availability and investigate response quality while maintaining prompts, knowledge sources, and configuration records.

Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams for L2/L3 escalation, validating releases, and applying responsible-AI controls.

Qualifications

Experience with Azure OpenAI or comparable enterprise LLM services.
Exposure to Semantic Kernel or agent orchestration frameworks.
Experience with LLM observability, evaluation, or prompt-testing tools.
Exposure to front-end stacks like Next.js and React.js.
Experience in Python.

Responsibilities

Monitor availability, latency, errors, usage, and health of chatbot services.
Triage and resolve incidents involving conversations, prompts, endpoints, and APIs.
Investigate inaccurate or unsafe chatbot responses and document corrective actions.
Maintain approved prompts, system instructions, and knowledge sources.
Support retrieval-augmented generation workflows and knowledge refresh activities.
Validate releases and configuration changes across development, testing, and production environments.
Analyze logs, traces, and metrics to identify recurring issues and improvements.
Apply responsible-AI, privacy, security, content-safety, and human-escalation controls.
