Job summary

Malomatia seeks an experienced Network Operations and Cybersecurity Engineer to act as the operational backbone of the network and security function. You will own end-to-end operations, including routing, switching, security controls, and cybersecurity engineering, while maintaining hands-on accountability for daily operations.

You will design and maintain enterprise infrastructure, lead major changes, manage escalations, and present performance dashboards. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in network operations and cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience overseeing or coordinating multi-disciplinary operations (network + security).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
• Strong ability to prepare operational reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day network and security operations end-to-end.
• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise routing and switching infrastructure.
• Own the operational health of routers, switches, firewalls, and related devices; manage changes and upgrades.
• Lead cybersecurity engineering activities across security tooling (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN).
• Harden configurations per CIS benchmarks and remediate audit findings.
• Monitor SOC for incidents; drive root‑cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Prepare and present operational reports and dashboards to leadership.
