Job summary

Swan Global seeks a qualified Rigger in Qatar to safely set up, inspect, and operate rigging equipment for lifting operations on oil & gas sites. You will coordinate with crane operators and site engineers to ensure efficient and safe lifting of heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in rigging operations within oil & gas projects.
• Valid TUV / Third-Party Rigger Certification (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of lifting plans, load charts and rigging tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect rigging gear, slings, shackles, chains and spreader bars.
• Assist in assembling and dismantling rigging setups for cranes and lifting devices.
• Signal and direct crane operators during lifting and placement of materials.
• Ensure compliance with oil & gas site safety regulations and DOPET standards.
• Identify load weights and determine safest lifting methods and equipment.
• Report damaged equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
