KBR, Inc. in Doha, Qatar is seeking a qualified Rigger to perform rigging, load handling, and crane operations with up to 500T capacity.

The role requires a valid rigging certificate and 7 years of hands-on Oil & Gas/Petrochemical experience, ensuring safety and precision in all lifting activities. Responsibilities include calculating loads, selecting slings and gear, signaling, and guiding loads to final positions.

Qualificações

• Secondary (12 years) certificate or ITI holder.
• 07 years relevant hands-on experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industries.
• Valid Rigging certificate from a competent and certified agency.

Responsabilidades

• Check loads to be moved, estimate size, shape, weight and center of gravity, and ensure loads do not exceed crane lifting capacities.
• Attach lifting devices to hoisting equipment and items to be moved using clamps, hooks, bolts, and knots.
• Select proper slings, lifting gears and grappling devices, padding sharp corners to prevent sling damage.
• Maintain alert to people and objects in load path; use hand signals, whistles or radios.
• Guide loads into position as they are lowered.
• Move heavy equipment, large pipes and control valves with very large cranes (up to 500T).
