Job summary

KBR STS seeks a Rigging Supervisor to lead lifting operations on heavy equipment, pipes and valves. You will verify loads, select rigging gear, and coordinate with crane operators to ensure safe, efficient movement on site.

The role requires extensive experience in oil and gas or petrochemical environments, with a valid rigging certificate and ITI/12-year education background. Work is on-site in Qatar with strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• 07 years relevant field experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industries.
• Valid Rigging certificate from a competent and certified agency.

Responsibilities

• Check loads to be moved, estimate size, shape, weight and CG; ensure crane lifting limits are not exceeded.
• Attach lifting devices to hoisting equipment and items using clamps, hooks, bolts and knots; select proper slings and gear.
• Maintain high situational awareness for path obstructions; follow signals and radio communications.
• Guide loads into position as they are lowered.
• Lifting and moving heavy equipment, large pipes and valves with cranes up to 500T.
