Job summary

UCC Holding in Qatar is seeking a Market Risk Analyst to monitor and report market risks arising from oil and gas trading activities. You will work closely with trading and commercial teams to ensure effective risk oversight across commodity portfolios.

The role requires 3–5 years of market risk experience, strong analytical and quantitative skills, advanced Excel, and fluency in English. Based in Qatar or willing to relocate, you will support VaR, stress testing, and risk reporting processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Market Risk, Risk Reporting, Trade Control, or Trading Operations.
• Experience within an Oil & Gas Trading House, Commodity Trading Company, Energy Company, or Financial Institution.
• Understanding of commodity and energy trading markets.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Based in Qatar or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily market risk exposures across trading portfolios.
• Produce exposure, position, P&L, and risk reports.
• Support risk limit monitoring and escalation processes.
• Analyze market movements and their impact on trading positions.
• Assist in risk reporting, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
• Support the enhancement of risk controls, reporting tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with Trading, Operations, Finance, and Risk teams.
