Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an Offshore Rig Welder to work on Offshore Oil & Gas Rigs (Platforms, Drillships, FPSOs) in a rotational 28 days on/28 days off cycle. This role requires welding high-stress components, strict adherence to safety protocols, and capability to perform under challenging offshore conditions.

Required certifications include AWS D1.1 or ASME IX, plus offshore certs BOSIET/FOET, HUET, OGUK/UKOOA Medical Fitness, and Confined Space Entry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding experience (oil/gas)
• Offshore survival training (non-negotiable)
• Ability to pass random drug/alcohol tests (rig policy)
• Training reimbursements provided by employer
• Insurance coverage provided by employer

Responsibilities

• Weld high-stress components under variable weather/sea conditions.
• Adhere to offshore safety protocols and rig-specific procedures.
• Act as part of the rigs emergency team for urgent repairs.
• Work in confined spaces with limited ventilation.
