Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha is seeking an experienced painter for onshore and offshore projects. You will follow maintenance supervisor instructions and perform painting inside and outside tanks and vessels, including at height, under supervision.

Candidates must know painting techniques, operate and maintain relevant equipment, and comply with manufacturer data. Offshore/marine experience of 5 years is required and knowledge of QatarEnergy life saving rules.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of painting techniques.
• Familiar with operation and maintenance of relevant equipment.
• Complies with manufacturer data sheets and instructions.
• Marine or offshore experience of at least five years.

Responsibilities

• Follow Instructions of Maintenance Supervisor.
• Paints various types of works onshore and offshore.
• Paints according to drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Paints according to nature of job.
• Paints inside and outside tanks and vessels.
• Works at height in critical locations.
• Maintains painting tools and assigns tasks to painters under supervision.
• Maintains logbook and records.
• Adheres to QatarEnergy life saving rules and regulations.
