Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha is seeking an experienced painter for onshore and offshore projects. You will follow maintenance supervisor instructions and perform painting inside and outside tanks and vessels, including at height, under supervision.

Candidates must know painting techniques, operate and maintain relevant equipment, and comply with manufacturer data. Offshore/marine experience of 5 years is required and knowledge of QatarEnergy life saving rules.

• Marine or offshore experience of at least five years.

• Follow Instructions of Maintenance Supervisor.
  
• Painting of Various types of works onshore and offshore.
  
• Painting according to drawing and instruction of supervisor.
  
• Painting according to nature of job.
  
• Painting inside and outside tank and vessels.
  
• Painting at height, critical locations.
  
• Maintenance of Painting tools and giving assignments to painters and evaluate their performance under close supervision.
  
• Maintaining logbook and keeping record.
  
• A sound understanding of QatarEnergy life saving rules and regulations is a requirement.
  

Requirements

• Shall have a thorough knowledge of all painting techniques.
  
• Shall be familiar with the operation and maintenance of the relevant equipment.
  
• Shall be fully cognizant with, and abide by, the manufacturer's data and instruction sheets.
  
• Marine or offshore experience of at least five (5) years.
