Job summary

North Oil Company seeks an experienced environmental professional to lead company-wide environmental management and regulatory compliance from Doha. The role focuses on GHG and methane reporting, KPI monitoring, EMS implementation, audits, and data-driven environmental improvement across operations and sites, including offshore visits.

The position requires a bachelor’s in environmental engineering or related field, with eight years in industry; master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• A relevant master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum eight years of professional experience in environmental management within an operational setting.
• Experience in oil and gas environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Environmental reporting including greenhouse gas emissions reporting.
• Coordinate ISO 14001 EMS implementation and continual improvement.
• Manage regulatory compliance and environmental permitting processes.
• Oversee environmental data collection, KPI monitoring and dashboards.
• Lead environmental audits and follow-up actions.
• Support oil-spill preparedness, waste and chemical management, and radiation protection data.
• Engage with regulators, contractors and internal stakeholders.
