Job summary

MPH Consulting Services JLT seeks an Offshore Completion and Well Intervention Supervisor for Qatar Offshore. This role will oversee rig-based completion, workover, well intervention, and related maintenance programs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with completions, WO, and well intervention engineers, manage on-site crews and equipment, and interface with offshore platforms and rigs. Rotational 28 days on/28 days off is standard. Start ASAP, end December 2029.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of completions workover operations, slick line, E-Line, coil tubing, stimulation, and wellhead maintenance.
• Ability to interface safely with Production and Drilling Teams.
• Knowledge of smart completions equipment design, function, testing, and deployment recovery.
• Knowledge of control line management on rigs up to 8 lines and complex subassemblies.
• Experience with well intervention slickline, e-line, coiled tubing, and stimulation.
• Knowledge of WellHead Maintenance Surface WH XT.
• Minimum 10 years of oil and gas experience; minimum 8 years offshore exposure.
• IWCF Level 4 Well Intervention or Drilling every 2 years; T-BOSIET and H2S training.
• Demonstrated safety culture and ability to coordinate with offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and supervise rig-based completion and workover operations and interventions.
• Ensure adequate personnel, equipment and services per safety and regulatory requirements.
• Interface with Completions, WO and Well Intervention Engineers to mobilize equipment and services.
• Coordinate with Rig drilling, fluids and HSE Supervisors during operations.
• Prepare PTW and JRA with offshore platform and rig teams as required.
• Report daily to onshore Well Intervention teams on all operations.
• Lead HSE toolbox talks and pre-job safety meetings.
• Oversee stock management for completions, WO, and WHM equipment.
• Ensure material requirements are mobilized on site per plan and tracked.

Location: Qatar Offshore

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: December 2029

Qualification and Experience Required

• Extensive knowledge of completions workover operations, slick line, E-Line, coil tubing, stimulation, wellhead maintenance operations and equipment with associated management of service companies
• Safety oriented ability to interface safely and efficiently with Production and or Drilling Teams
• Knowledge of smart completions equipment design, function, testing, and deployment recovery
• Knowledge of control line management on rigs up to 8 lines, smart completion and long complex subassemblies preparation and running
• Knowledge of Well Intervention slickline, e-line, coiled tubing, and stimulation
• Knowledge of WellHead Maintenance Surface WH XT
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil Gas environment
• Minimum of 8 years offshore exposure
• WellView, Office Suite, Operations Planning, Wellview, and SAP is a plus
• IWCF level 4 Well Intervention Certificate or Drilling every 2 years
• T-BOSIET every 4 years and H2S every 2 years

Role

• Manage, coordinate and supervise the rig based completion & workover operations and rig or rigless well Intervention operations, wellhead maintenance and stimulation operations as per a written completion, workover or intervention program
• Ensure the adequacy of personnel, equipment, services with local/international regulations required for safe and efficient completions & WO, interventions & stimulation operations as per written programs.
• Interface constantly with Completions, WO and Well Intervention Engineers to prepare, review and mobilize equipment with required services.
• Interface with Rig drilling, fluid, HSE Supervisors during rig based operations as required
• Prepare PTW and JRA with offshore platform and rig teams as and when required
• Report to the relevant onshore Completions, WO or Well Intervention teams (Well Interventionsuperintendent, Well Intervention Eng, Well Intervention Lead) on a daily basis for all rig and platform based operations.
• Hold Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) technical toolbox talk and pre-job safety meetings prior to executing critical operational steps.
• Be involved in Completions, WO, Well Intervention and WHM equipment stock management.
• Ensure all materials required to perform the operations are mobilized on site as per plan and back loaded with tracking.
• Ensure contractors performance is captured and feedback to the relevant onshore support
• Prepare all material request lists, offshore instructions, slick line, E-line, coil Tubing, or stimulation programs, tallies as per written programs, to safely and efficiently run operations.
• Participate in warehouse activities as/when required.
