Job summary

Client of Brunel in Doha seeks an experienced commissioning engineer to lead brownfield offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on major Oil & Gas projects. You will validate test sheets, oversee punch list clearance, and ensure safe handover to permanent assets.

The role requires 8 years in large-project commissioning, strong CMS knowledge (PIMS/WinPCS/ICAPS/Hexagon), and fluent English. You will coordinate with contractors, QA/QC, and HSE teams to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied sciences.
8 years of large-project commissioning experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
Familiar with CMS and completion certificate types.
Strong analytical, organizational and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Verify contractor completion dossiers for MC, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
Oversee site safety and ensure compliant handover to permanent assets.
Coordinate lessons learned for inclusion in project records.
Monitor progress with the completion management system and ensure timely handovers.
