Job summary
University of Doha for Science and Technology invites applications for Nursing Faculty at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. Candidates should have broad nursing expertise with clinical or teaching experience in mental health nursing.
Experience in addictions or behavioral health is an asset. Responsibilities include development, delivery, and evaluation of nursing courses, liaising with industry, and contributing to curriculum and accreditation efforts.
Qualifications
- PhD in Nursing or related health field required or Master/Bachelor in Nursing with PhD in another field.
- Registered nurse in good standing and eligible for Qatar licensing.
- Experience in post-secondary teaching and program leadership preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver and evaluate nursing courses across programs.
- Teach theory, lab, simulation and clinical education in key areas.
- Evaluate student learning and progress and manage learning resources.
- Liaise with industry and educational partners and participate in advisory committees.
- Maintain accreditation documents and contribute to curriculum development.
- Engage in scholarly, professional and community activities within the University.
