Job summary

Parsons in Qatar is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support day-to-day site operations across roads, drainage, utilities, MEP, and instrumentation, under the Senior Site Engineer and Resident Engineer. You will ensure work aligns with contract, design specs, quality standards, and safety requirements.

You will review contractor submittals, lead inspectors, and coordinate between multi-disciplinary site stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and robust documentation for handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of total post-graduate experience in construction supervision, with at least 5 years in a Site Engineer on large infrastructure projects.
• Experience supervising roads, drainage, utilities, and MEP/instrumentation on site.
• Read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings, technical specs, and contract docs.
• QA/QC processes on site, recording non-conformances and supporting corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Site Engineer and Resident Engineer in day-to-day site activities for infrastructure and building services works.
• Oversee construction activities such as earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities, MEP installations, and instrumentation.
• Review and approve contractor submittals, drawings, material approvals, method statements, and documentation.
• Lead inspectors and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with contract and safety standards.
• Document site activities through inspection and progress reports, quality records and safety documentation.
