Job summary

Qatar Foundation seeks a Sports Programming Coordinator to support planning, scheduling, and execution of weekly and seasonal sports programs for diverse participants in Qatar.

You will coordinate facilities, staffing, and equipment, manage registrations and payments via the EC App, and ensure adherence to QF guidelines while collaborating with Communications to promote participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sports Management, Recreation, Physical Education, Event Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years in sports program delivery, community activation, or event coordination within large organizations.
• Strong coordination, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office with familiarity in ERP systems and event management tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement weekly and seasonal sports programs, leagues, and classes.
• Coordinate facilities, venues, equipment, and staffing.
• Manage event logistics, including registrations, setup, medical coverage, and staffing.
• Ensure policies and procedures align with Qatar Foundation guidelines.
• Monitor operations and resolve scheduling issues; escalate risks as needed.
• Process service requests via ERP, Marafiq, and EC App.
• Collaborate with Communications to roll out campaigns.
• Oversee registrations and payments via the EC App, ensuring no-cash compliance.
• Support budgeting, procurement, and supplier payments with Finance.
• Prepare reports and presentations to support decision-making.
• Assist in mobilizing volunteers and participants for programs.
• Ensure safety and risk management protocols at events.
