Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a Repairman-Engineering & CWS – Central Repair Shop – Finishing to repair and overhaul mechanical components from the finishing plant and production areas. Dismantle, inspect, repair, reassemble and test mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities include repairing gearboxes, bearings, rollers, shafts and conveyors; reading drawings and manuals; coordinating with machining, welding and production teams; and ensuring safe, quality repairs in a hot, dusty

Qualifications

• Graduation from Mechanical fitting or machining trade with basic shop math.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical repair experience in steel, manufacturing, rolling mill, or heavy industry.
• Experience in a central repair workshop or finishing plant preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, manuals and specifications.
• Hands-on with gearboxes, bearings, rollers, shafts, couplings, hydraulic cylinders, pumps and conveyors.
• Readiness to use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of machining, lubrication, alignment and fabrication basics.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, LOTO and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul mechanical components from finishing plant and production areas.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, reassemble and test mechanical equipment.
• Repair gearboxes, bearings, rollers, shafts, couplings, pumps, hydraulic cylinders and conveyors.
• Identify defects, wear, misalignment, leakage and damaged parts.
• Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
• Read drawings and specifications; coordinate with machining and fabrication teams.
• Conduct functional inspections before releasing repaired equipment.
• Maintain tools, workshop equipment, spare parts and records.
• Follow safety and housekeeping procedures.
